The novel  describes an alternative reality in which old people suddenly find themselves the target of seemingly unmotivated eruptions of violence on the part of younger people. No sabia muy bien a guwrra atenerme con este libro, pero termino gustandome mucho. Lists with This Book. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I found the ending to be very abrupt–I wanted more! As don Isidro reflects, such friends help us most as we face the challenges of old age.
